What is Home Care Nursing/Private Duty Nursing?
Grattan Private Duty Nursing is a Minnesota Comprehensive License holder, meaning the Minnesota Department of Health monitors our services. Home care nursing is hospital-level or skilled facility-level of care. These serves are provided in the private homes of individuals who have chronic or long-term health situations. This includes basic care as well as things requiring the skills of a nurse, such as ongoing daily or regular assistance with medication management and administration, ventilator and tracheostomy case, wound care, IV management, catheter and ostomy care, assessment, monitoring, regular communication with their physician, and more. All in all, these services are provided by licensed staff working long “shifts” to care for you or a loved one. Home Care Nursing Services give a break to family caregivers and can supplement or work alongside Personal Care Attendant services, providing additional staffing coverage.
